Arnoud Holleman was born in Haarlem, the Netherlands, in 1964. He is now based in Amsterdam. Holleman is an artist, documentary maker, writer and collaborator. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, The Hague and Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten, Amsterdam. In his hybrid career he has worked with theater companies and magazines, directed for television and curated exhibitions. He has had solo exhibitions at Frans Hals Museum, Haarlem (2005) and Stedelijk Museum Bureau, Amsterdam (2003). He’s an experienced teacher at the Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam, and the Design Academy, Eindhoven.
