Director

After studying journalism at the University College in Oslo, Benjamin Ree started his career by freelancing for Reuters and the BBC. Today he works as a documentary director at the Web-TV station VGTV. His productions have premiered at IDFA and the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival. Magnus (2016), his first feature-length production about chess genius Magnus Carlsen, won him several international awards. Ree prides himself in getting really close to interesting people.
