After spending her childhood in Val d’Isère and several years abroad, Charlène Favier founded her own company, Charlie Bus Production, at the age of 24. She trained in acting at the Jacques Le Coq School in London, in directing at the Astoria Studio in New York, and in writing at the FEMIS script workshop, from which she graduated in 2015. At the same time, she wrote, directed, and produced several short films and documentaries, such as Free Fall (2012), Omessa (2015), and Odol Gorri, nominated for the 2020 César Award for Best Short Film. Slalom is her first feature film.
