David Verbeek graduated in Directing from the Netherlands Film Academy, in 2005. After graduating he left for China, returning three years later with his second feature film Shanghai Trance. He shot third feature film in Taiwan, a Dutch/French/co-production. „R Uthere“ . The film got selected to Un Certain Regard in Cannes. David worked on his feature film HOW TO DESCRIBE A CLOUD and FULL CONTACT, which premiered at TIFF.
