Irine Jordania was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. She graduated from Tbilisi State University, where she pursued an International Relations and Law degree. Afterward, she completed a course in Film Directing at the Rustaveli Theatre and Film State University of Tbilisi – Rezo Esadze’s workshop. She has done an internship at the Russian State University of Cinematography in Moscow, in Marlen Khutsiev’s workshop. She also worked as a journalist for various media outlets and as an editor for different publications. Presently she works as a screenwriter. 12 K. MARX STREET is her first independent film project.
