Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese is a screenwriter, film director and visual artist from Lesotho, who lives in Berlin. His films explore spiritual and political themes and are noted for their minimal dialogue, strong poetic imagery, and preoccupation with his own childhood memories, identity and physical and metaphorical death. His film This is Not a Burial, it’s a Resurrection has won several awards, including a Special Jury Award for Visionary Filmmaking at the Sundance Film Festival, the Jury Prize at the Portland International Film Festival, and the Grand Prize at the Taipei Film Festival.
