Lucia Carlini was born in Rome. Since she was a little kid she started to love reading illustrated books, hoping she could become an illustrator herself in the future. Following her passion, at 20 years old, after winning a scholarship to the European Institute of Design in Roma, she started to illustrate books for kids. Still to this day she uses the beauty she finds in the little things to create and illustrate her own stories.
