Morten Evelid


Director Morten Hølmebakk Evelid (1967) graduated as a filmmaker
from Tisch School of Arts, New York University. He has made several
short films aimed at children, most recently «Pontus and the magical
wand», which was supported by the NFI. His short film «Blue Java» was
nominated best national short-film. The short film «Strong Hold» won
several awards at home and abroad. Evelid is based in Bergen. He has
written screenplays for all his films and also written prose and worked on
