Ondřej Novák is a director, a screenwriter, and a producer (born in 1982) living in Prague, Czech Republic. He has shot several short documentaries and video clips. He is also a founder of the Uncanny Club where he focuses on writing comics, animation, and games. His first short movie Reconstruction is based on a real case where two young boys brutally tortured the homeless. The film has been premiered in the competition section of the Locarno film festival and was nominated for the EFA European Film Awards. Novák has just finished his second short film Debt and is working on a script for this feature debut Recognition.
