After studying academic drawing, he worked several years as an illustrator before attending La Poudrière Animation Film School in 2003 where he made three short films. His credits include work on feature films such as Tomm Moore & Nora Twomey’s The Secret of Kells (2009) and Jean-François Laguionie’s The Painting (2011). In 2016, he directed his first animated film, Long Way North. Calamity won this year the Cristal award for Best feature film at the Annecy Animation Film Festival.
