Rémi Chayé

Director

After study­ing aca­d­e­m­ic draw­ing, he worked sev­er­al years as an illus­tra­tor before attend­ing La Poudrière Ani­ma­tion Film School in 2003 where he made three short films. His cred­its include work on fea­ture films such as Tomm Moore & Nora Twomey’s The Secret of Kells (2009) and Jean-François Laguionie’s The Paint­ing (2011). In 2016, he direct­ed his first ani­mat­ed film, Long Way NorthCalami­ty won this year the Cristal award for Best fea­ture film at the Annecy Ani­ma­tion Film Festival.
