Born in 1989, Teitur was addicted to films and spent his childhood making short films with his friends. In 2015 he enrolled in the Icelandic Film School and graduated two years later. He received an award for best academic achievement and attendance. After graduating in 2016 he has been writing film scripts, receiving script grants from The Icelandic Film Centre as well as making short films.
