Árni Ólafur Ásgeirsson


Árni Ólafur Ásgeirsson was a graduate of the Polish National Film School. His first feature film in 2006, entitled “Thicker than Water”, made it in the official selection at Toronto and was in competition at many prestige festivals around the world. His second film “BRIM” (e. “Undercurrent”) came out in 2010, nominated for numerous prizes around the world. Árni ́s third film, the 3D animated feature “Ploey –You Never Fly Alone” had a global theatre release in over 50 countries. Árni was active in the film community and worked both as a screenwriter and director of fiction and TV commercials.
