Hubert Sauper


Hubert Sauper is a world-renowned filmmaker, director of Sundance winner We Come as Friends and the Oscar-nominated Darwin’s Nightmare.

He studied film directing in Vienna (Univ. of Performing Arts). In 1994 he emigrated to France and wrote a thesis about French movie director Ciryl Collard in Université Der Paris VIII and graduated B.A.(Mag. art). Actually Hubert teaches film classes in Europe and the United States while he directs his documentaries. The last two documentaries he wrote and directed were awarded twelve International Film Prizes.
