Nir Bergman was born in 1969 and grew up in Haifa (Israel) and Ein Hod. He graduated with honors from the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem. His debut film, Broken Wings won several international awards and was distributed by Sony Classics in the US. Since then, he has written and directed several award-winning feature films as well as successful TV series. He participated in the co-writing of In Treatment, adapted by HBO.
