Salad Hilowle

Salad Hilowle’s practice revolves around identity, memories and place. His short film Waryaa was one of eight projects in the short film series Röst, which portrayed Sweden in the election year 2018. His second short film Letters to Sweden was shortlisted for a Guldbagge nomination, as well as an honorable mention at the Tempo Documentary Festival in the Best FIlm category. The same film was also seen by more than 1 million people on television in 2017. Hilowle is currently working on his feature film Tungomål.
