There are quite a few novels that are made into films, which more often than not have ended in a big hit.
\nthe question of which is better, the book or the movie. And everyone has their own opinion. But when it comes to the story \u00d6r by Au\u00f0ur \u00d6va \u00d3lafsd\u00f3ttir and the film Hotel Silence by Canadian-Swiss filmmaker L\u00e9a Pool, it can be safely said that both are of great merit. The receptions testify to that.<\/p>\n

Au\u00f0ur \u00d6va's work in question was published in 2017 and was her fifth novel, which tells the story of a certain J\u00f3nas.
\nEbenezer, a 49-year-old divorced, impotent, heterosexual man who has not held
\naround a woman's bare body \u2013 at least not intentionally \u2013 for eight years and five months. But he is
\nhandy. The warrior has tiled seven bathrooms and when he sets off on a journey he
\nhas no intention of turning back, he takes a drill with him.<\/p>\n

As if this isn't exactly typical Au\u00f0ur Ava, as has been said in reviews of the work.
\nthat there goes a small book with a big heart. It is full of sly humor and sparkling, lively language
\nand also asks pressing questions about life and death, and above all about love, which is all that matters.
\nexchange, as it says in one place.<\/p>\n

And now this playful story has been transformed into a movie that RIFF guests can enjoy at the festival, but the film was
\npremiered in Montreal, Canada this spring in the presence of the book's author, who, reportedly, had a mind and
\nthe hearts of the local media who wanted to interview him one by one. Because who writes like this
\nunbelievably good?<\/p>\n

The director, L\u00e9a Pool, who was born in Switzerland, has, in addition to her work in filmmaking, taught the profession of
\nUniversity of Quebec in Montreal, Canada, but although she is supposed to be retired, she has
\ncould not stop creating any more than many other artists in their later years. So why not capture \u00d6r on film. And L\u00e9a can certainly be pleased with the result, because major newspapers such as the Sunday Times have
\nkicked her in the ass, but this black comedy that deals with the heavy nature of man, as it is
