Most Icelanders know Gunnar Magn\u00fasson as one of the biggest names in Icelandic design history. His works and furniture have gained significant international attention, and he collaborated with some of Denmark\u2019s foremost designers, such as B\u00f8rge Mogensen. He also achieved great success in international design competitions in the 1960s. In 1964, he returned to Iceland with his family, where he founded his own design studio and spent four decades working on numerous projects for families and companies, including Hotel Holt, the Teachers\u2019 College, Parliament, and banks.
