Bergur was enrolled in the Icelandic Film School from 2017-2019, where he made his first two short films: Gulrætur and Mánudagur. Since graduating he has worked at The Icelandic national television broadcasting service (RÚV) producing TV programmes for children as well as working on miscellaneous independent film projects. Bergur recently finished shooting his newest work, a short film set in Reykjavík that will premiere in 2023.
