As fires rage in the Amazon hundreds of miles away, a young nurse Lucia senses something off in the air and begins to have doubts about her pregnancy. A reluctant favor to her ailing grandmother brings Lucia to a neo-Pentecostal church, where she becomes drawn by a charismatic young parishioner and her faith.
