Director’s Bio

Jacquelyn Mills is a filmmaker based in Montréal. Her award-winning documentary In the Waves (2017) premiered at Visions du Réel. Her most recent work Geographies of Solitude (2022) had its world premiere at the Berlinale Forum, winning three awards. Jacquelyn has worked for the National Film Board of Canada as well as numerous internationally acclaimed films.
