Synopsis
When Rose wakes up to discover that she has been left alone by her mother during their summer holiday, she tries to enjoy her day.
Director’s Bio

Rosita Wolkers (33) is a screenwriter that makes her directorial debut with her short film SUNSHINE MOTEL. In 2018 she graduated from the Netherlands Film Academy with the critically acclaimed dance film SISTERS which i.a. won the AHK Graduation Award and the AHK Graduation Audience Award. Last year she wrote her feature film script PROJECT SUNSHINE, with a story that follows on from her debut film and which she hopes to direct one day. She does not hesitate to include her personal experiences in the narrative and works with themes that arise from an intrinsic drive to tell powerful, feminine stories. Often stories that approach traumatic experiences from the hopeful, sparkling gaze of a child.
