The Spot
17 Minutes | United States | 2008
Synopsis
November 22, 1963. A day that America and the world will never forget. Four decades later, as the rest of Dallas makes strides as a 21st century city, the spot where President Kennedy was shockingly assassinated remains eerily and forever frozen in time.

Alexandre O. Philippe holds a Masters in Dramatic Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and is Creative Director at Exhibit A Pictures. Most of his films take on the role of unpacking the most influential works of master filmmakers, and dissecting seminal screen moments. Selected works include Lynch/Oz (Tribeca ’22), Leap of Faith: William Friedkin on the Exorcist (Venice ’19, Sundance ‘20), Memory: The Origins of Alien (Sundance ’19), 78/52 (Sundance ’17), Doc of the Dead (SXSW’14), and The People vs. George Lucas (SXSW ‘10). Alexandre is currently in post production on a film about William Shatner, to be released next Spring.
