Karen, a 9-year-old Icelandic girl, has always dreamt of meeting her London-based actor father and to get to know the magical world she believes he inhabits. Her wish comes true when she goes to visit him but the experience, which is both exciting and uncomfortable, makes her realize that he’s perhaps not exactly the father that she had hoped for.
