When octogenarian widow Mantoa loses the last of her children to a mining accident, she begins making arrangements to die herself, wrapping up her affairs and possessions, and seeking a local man to dig her a grave. Yet her plans for a peaceful passing are undone when a new reservoir is set to be built in her village, which will flood the cemetery. Mantoa ignites a collective spirit of defiance within the community, and her last days become much more memorable than she ever thought.<\/p>\n
