Section: A Glimpse of Iceland in EFA

EFA, The European Film Awards, will be awarded in Iceland this forthcoming December and RIFF will take part in the awards ceremony. It can therefore truly be said that RIFF has earned its place among the world’s leading film festivals. The EFA’s are held in Berlin biannually in odd-numbered years but in different European cities in even-numbered years. It’s a great honor for Iceland to host the EFAs and a recognition for both Icelandic filmmaking and RIFF.
