Myndin á vel við þar sem hún gerist að mestu á vatni eða neðansjávar og allir ættu að yfirgefa Sundhöllina með bros á vör! \n// \nSwim In Cinema has been one of the more beloved special events at RIFF through the years and this year will be no different. Friday the 1. October at 19:30 people can enjoy watching the cult classic “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou”. Like recent years much effort will be put into the experience and surroundings and guests may expect unexpected happenings. The film was specifically chosen because it takes place on and underwater in theme with the wet experience so everyone should leave the swimming pool with a smile on their face.

SUMMARY:NÝJASTA TÆKNI OG KVIKMYNDIR / RIFF XR
DESCRIPTION:RIFF leggur áherslu á sýndarveruleika í ár og býður upp á viðburð þar sem spennandi nýjungar í kvikmyndagerð\, sýndarveruleika\, gagnauknum veruleika og tölvuleikjum verða á boðstólum. Helgina 9.-10. október verður í Bíó Paradís hægt að njóta úrvals handvalinna verðlaunaverka. \nGestir fá tvær klukkustundir og fimmtán mínútur til að kynna sér verkin\, en hægt er að kaupa miða sem gildir annars vegar milli kl. 13:00-15:15 og hins vegar milli kl. 15:30-17:45 laugardaginn 9. og sunnudaginn 10. október. Miðaverð er 3900 kr. \nOpnunarhóf Nýjasta tækni og kvikmynda verður haldið á Loft Hostel föstudagskvöldið 8. október með ýmsum framúrstefnulegum skemmtiatriðum. DJ Flugvél og Geimskip flytur efni sem er blanda af tónlist og tölvuleik sem notast við hreyfiskynjunarbúninga\, Íris Thorarins spinnur tónlist við tölvuleikinn Sable frá Raw Fury sem partur af Live Games Live Music og Úlfur Eldjárn kynnir gagnvirka verkið Reykjavík GPS. Aðgangur er ókeypis. \nAðalstyrktaraðili er Raw Fury.\nAðrir styrktar- og samstarfsaðilar eru Aldin Dynamics\, Flow\, Hliðskjálf VR Lab\, Huldufugl and Rent a Party. \n// \nThis year RIFF lays special emphasis on virtual reality experiences and hosts a new event called RIFF XR\, where the latest technology in filmmaking\, virtual reality\, augmented reality and computer games will be presented. A selection of these award-winning experiences will be on offer the weekend of October 9th-10th at Bíó Paradís. \nGuests will have 2 hours and 15 minutes to explore all the experiences\, and can purchase tickets valid between 13:00-15:15 or 15:30-17:45\, either on Saturday 9th or Sunday 10th October. Tickets are 3900 ISK. \nThe opening party of RIFF XR will be held at Loft Hostel on Friday evening\, October 8th\, with a variety of futuristic entertainment. DJ Flugvél and Geimskip performs material that is a mix of music and computer game using motion capture suits\, Íris Thorarins creates music with the computer game Sable by Raw Fury as a part of Live Games Live Music and Úlfur Eldjárn introduces the interactive piece Reykjavík GPS.
