DESCRIPTION:RIFF snýst ekki aðeins um að sýna nýjar kvikmyndir heldur einnig um að sýna þær á ferskan og frumlegan hátt. Með þetta í huga höfum við skipulagt einstakan kvikmyndaviðburð sem mun eiga sér stað djúpt í iðrum jarðar. Áhorfendur munu fylgja leiðsögumönnum niður í myrkur Raufarhólshellis þar sem komið hefur verið fyrir sýningartjaldi og upplifa þar sérvaldar kvikmyndir á æsispennandi hátt. Enda veitir algert myrkur bestu mögulegu sýningarskilyrðin. Dagurinn byrjar á fjölskyldusýningu þar sem sýnd verður mynd fyrir alla aldurshópa en síðar meir tekur alvaran við og sýnd verður mynd sem þenur taugarnar. Nauðsynlegt er að klæða sig vel fyrir þessa sýningu. \nMyndin sem verður sýnd er ástralska teiknimyndin: „Hættuspil“  \nÞegar heimi hennar er ógnað vegna þverrandi sólarljóss verður ung stúlka að sigrast á ótta sínum og ferðast til ævintýralegrar borgar\, bjarga föður sínum frá dularfullum vísindamanni og koma í veg fyrir tortímingu plánetunnar. \n Hægt er að sjá sýnishorn af myndinni hér: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3Zbh_GPNCM\n \nHurðin opnar 16:00 \n\n\nRIFF is not only about showing new films\, but also about showing them in fresh and original ways. With this in mind\, we have planned a unique screening that will take place deep in the bowels of the earth. The audience will follow guides deep into the darkness of Raufarhól Cave\, where an exhibition has been held and experience selected films in an exciting way. After all\, total darkness provides possible exhibition conditions. The day starts with a family screening where a movie will be shown for all age groups\, but later on the seriousness takes over and a movie will be shown that will make them nervous. Dressing in warm clothes for this event is essential.  \nThe film that will be shown is the Australian animated movie „Scarygirl“ \nWhen her world is threatened by a loss of sunlight\, a young girl must overcome her fears and journey to a fantastical city\, save her father from a mysterious scientist and prevent the destruction of her planet.  \nYou can watch the trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3Zbh_GPNCM  \nThe doors open at 16:00.

DESCRIPTION:Upplifðu samþættingu matargerðarlistar og kvikmynda á sérviðburði RIFF\, Sjónræn matarveisla\, í Norræna húsinu. Við bjóðum áhorfendum upp á sýningu á hinni klassísku Disney-teiknimynd Ratatouille (2007) á meðan þeir gæða sér á matarveislu frá SÓNÓ matseljum Norræna hússins\, sem inniheldur meðal annars hinn fræga franska rétt ratatouille sem myndin dregur nafn sitt af. \nRatatouille fjallar um ævintýri Remy\, lítillar rottu með stóra drauma um að verða þekktur kokkur. Remy tekur höndum saman við hinn unga Linguini sem vinnur í ruslinu á frægum veitingastað í París. Saman búa þeir til stórfenglega veislurétti sem ögra hefðum franskrar matargerðar. \nInnifalið í miðaverðinu er fordrykkur í boði MEKKA og tveggja rétta máltíð frá Sónó Matseljum og miði á Ratatoullie ásamt smáréttum og lifandi uppákomum í anda myndarinnar \nHúsið opnar klukkan 18:00 og sýning hefst klukkan 19:00 – ATH! We offer audiences the opportunity to watch the classic Disney animation Ratatouille (2007) and dine on a feast from the cooks of Nordic house’s SÓNÓ\, including the famous French dish ratatouille which the movie derives its name from. \nRatatouille follows the adventures of Remy\, a small rat with big dreams of becoming a renowned chef. Remy teams up with the unlikely hero Linguini who works as a garbage boy at a famous restaurant in Paris and together they create culinary masterpieces that challenge the conventions of haute cuisine. \nThe ticket price includes an aperitif curtesy of MEKKA and a two-course meal from Sónó Matseljum and a ticket to Ratatoullie along with small dishes and live performances from the film \nThe house opens at 18:00 and the movie starts at 19:00 – This event is sold out!
