Experience Wicker with Alexander Skarsgård at Háskólabíó – the acclaimed actor himself will be in attendance!
Alexander Skarsgård will attend the Nordic premiere of Wicker at RIFF and will give a short address to the audience before the screening. This is a unique opportunity to see Skarsgård’s latest film on the big screen and meet one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation in person.
Skarsgård will also receive the RIFF 2026 Honorary Award for Outstanding Artistic Achievement and take part in a Q&A session.
About the Film
A fisherwoman lives on the fringes of a seaside village; she is unmarried, stinky, and constantly teased. One day, sick of her stuffy, narrow-minded neighbors, she orders a wicker husband for herself.
Wicker is directed by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson and stars Alexander Skarsgård, Olivia Colman, Peter Dinklage, and Elizabeth Debicki in the leading roles.
