RIFF's Industry Days aim to highlight the strengths of the Icelandic film industry, provide a forum for meaningful discussion on key industry topics, and offer a welcoming space for networking and connection. The event will take place in early October 2025.
Film industry professionals can apply for an industry accreditation, which grants access to all industry events at the festival.
To attend RIFF as a film professional, you can apply for a BASIC or FULL industry accreditation. The FULL industry accreditation also includes access to all regular screenings at RIFF. For students studying film, we offer a FULL industry accreditation with a 20% discount.

A number of distinguished guests have attended RIFF's Industry Days in recent years, including Miloš Forman, Jim Jarmusch, and Mads Mikkelsen. These guests of honor have contributed to building the festival's reputation as a key festival for original and progressive films.

INDUSTRY ACCREDITATION
BASIC
Included in the BASIC Industry Accreditation is:
- Panel discussions
- Masterclasses with the festival's honorary guests
- Impact Panel: In-depth panel discussions held after all screenings of films in the “Alternative Futures” category
- RIFF talks, in the spirit of TED talks, RIFF talks offer insight into the work of industry experts who share advice on how to gain a foothold in the industry.
Note: Admission to film screenings and special events is not included with the pass.
FULL
Included in the FULL Industry Accreditation is:
- Information, access to all public exhibitions
- Panel discussions
- Master's thesis with the festival's honorary guests
- Impact Panel: In-depth panel discussions held after all screenings of films in the "Another Future" category.
- RIFF talks, in the spirit of TED talks, RIFF talks offer insight into the work of industry experts who share advice on how to gain a foothold in the industry.
Note: Access to special events is not included in the Industry FULL pass.
FULL FILM STUDENT
Included in the FULL FILM STUDENT Industry Accreditation is:
- Festival pass: Access to all public exhibitions
- Panel discussions
- Master's thesis with the festival's honorary guests
- Impact Panel: In-depth panel discussions held after all screenings of films in the "Alternative Futures" category.
- RIFF talks: In the spirit of TED talks, RIFF talks offer insight into the work of industry experts who share advice on how to break into the industry.
