Bubbly Cinema is one of RIFF’s most glamorous events this year, created in collaboration with Aztiq and Maison Wessman. It’s an evening where wine, friends, and film intertwine in a unique experience, with glamour and good vibes setting the festive mood. The evening features a screening of the 1957 classic Pal Joey frá árinu 1957, þar sem Frank Sinatra, Rita Hayworth og Kim Novak skína á skjánum.
One of the honorary guests of RIFF 2025, the legendary star Kim Novak, has informed the organizers of the Reykjavík International Film Festival that, due to unforeseen circumstances, she unfortunately has to change her plans regarding attending RIFF.
Guests are encouraged to dress up in the spirit of the film, raise a glass of bubbles, and celebrate the magic of cinema on the big screen. The evening will be hosted by Snjólaug Lúðvíksdóttir, with actress and singer Sigríður Ásta adding a special touch through live musical performance.
Included in the ticket price is one glass of bubbly, with additional offers at the bar throughout the night.
