The Girls Film! course recently concluded in Egilsstaðir. The course was an exceptional success and a number of interesting girls and gender-bending kids participated. During the course, participants had the opportunity to cultivate their inner creativity, reflect on female role models, and learn the basics of filmmaking under the safe guidance of the country's most respected female screenwriters and filmmakers. The main emphasis is on self-empowerment, tolerance, and creating a safe space for participants where all opinions and ideas are valid.
