GENERAL INFORMATION
The main cinemas for RIFF are Háskólabíó and The Nordic House. Both are located west of the downtown of Reykjavik and are within walking distance from the center (it takes around 15 minutes to walk). Other venues will be announced closer to the festival.

THE NORDIC HOUSE
The venue has been a cornerstone of Reykjavik’s cultural scene and has operated as a cinema since 1961. It also served as the main concert hall for the Iceland Symphony Orchestra until the inauguration of the Harpa Concert Hall in 2011. For the festival, the venue will be beautifully redecorated to warmly welcome RIFF guests, all in keeping with the festival’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
