Industry days

RIFF Industry Days is a series of events and talks held during the festival. Their prime objective is to create a platform for the exchange and circulation of ideas and promotion between the Icelandic and international film industry, with an emphasis on the Nordic region. The main Industry Days events will be held at the Nordic House, recorded and streamed live online. Registration is required for all events.

RIFF WORK IN PROGRESS SHOWCASE IS OPEN FOR ENTRIES

RIFF MARKET FORUM 2022 will present a showcase of projects in various stages of production or development held in collaboration with the Icelandic Film Centre where excerpts from the most recent and upcoming film and tv productions will be
presented to distributors and representatives from world-class sales agencies.

As an innovation, WIP 2021 hosted projects from Greenland and the Faroe Islands, on 2022 the call will also be extended to projects from the high North territories, Canada, Alaska, and the Arctic regions, so do not miss out and submit your project now.
Partakers will have exclusive access to market screenings of selected projects as well as B2B meetings.

The deadline for submissions is July 12th, 2022.

Selected works will be announced by July 31st 2022.

RIFF VIP INDUSTRY ACCREDITATION

Applications are open from May 15, 2022 to September 15, 2022.
The VIP accreditation fee is 28.000ISK/ 200 EUR.

VIP Industry Accreditation perks

RIFF VIP Industry Accreditation encompasses a full festival pass and access to industry events, including the 3rd RIFF Market Forum as well as the WIP showcase and market screenings, opening and closing ceremonies, selected special events, receptions, parties and a fantastic industry trip with our festival guests.

 

Furthermore, VIP Industry Accreditation holders will have access to special deals with our sponsors and the 2022 Industry Directory.

Who can apply for a VIP Industry Accreditation:

The VIP Industry Accreditation is intended only for active film professionals (e.g. buyers, distributors, film festival representatives and institutions, investors, producers and sales agents).

Such activities can be substantiated with a link to the relevant website of the company represented.

Applicants for a VIP Industry Accreditation who are not attached to a film company must include a description of their current professional activities in the film industry and a short statement of purpose, i.e. to what end they would utilise their VIP Industry Accreditation at the Festival, in the accreditation application form.

Once the accreditation is taken into consideration and approved by the industry team you will get a notification e-mail containing a link for payment via credit card/debit card.
