RIFF AND ICELAND HOTEL COLLECTION BY BERJAYA CONTINUE THEIR PARTNERSHIP
Reykjavík International Film Festival and the hotel chain Iceland Hotel Collection by Berjaya have signed a new partnership agreement. This is a continuation agreement between the festival and the hotels, but the partnership extends back to 2022.
Arndís Anna Reynisdóttir, Director of Sales and Marketing at Iceland Hotel Collection, has been very pleased with the partnership in recent years. “It’s great to be able to participate in Reykjavík’s thriving cultural landscape in this way.” Says Arndís Anna. “The partnership has been above all great fun and it’s always exciting to see how the city comes alive during the festival.”
Hrönn Marinósdóttir, Director of RIFF, agrees. “We at RIFF are extremely happy with a great collaboration with the Canopy Hotels and it is a great pleasure for us to continue on, but the collaboration plays a big role in enabling us to put together such a successful film festival every year,” says Hrönn on this occasion. “The role of the Berjaya Hotels in everything we can offer our international guests can hardly be overestimated. We sincerely thank Berjaya for their great collaboration and look forward to working with them in the future.”
RIFF will be held for the 22nd time this year and will run from September 25th to October 5th at the Háskólabíó. This year’s program is no lesser than previous years and is packed with exciting films from all over the world, each one designed to spark discussions, surprise guests and illuminate the cultural life of Reykjavík this autumn.
