As a trained actress, Cristèle Alves Meira began her career as a theater director. After her first two documentaries shot in Cape Verde and Angola, she directed two short fiction filmed in her mother’s village in Tras-os-Montes, Sol branco, which won awards in numerous festivals and Campo de Víboras presented at the Semaine de la Critique. As well as her latest short film, Invisível Herói. Cristèle is currently preparing her first feature film Bruxas.
