Director’s Bio
Jean-Sébastien Chauvin directed his first short, GIRLS OF FIRE in 2008. The film was selected at the Cannes Film Festival (Semaine de la Critique). AND THEY CLIMBED THE MOUNTAIN is his second film, shot in 2011. THE CHILDREN, his fifth film, was selected at Clermont Ferrand ISFF in 2014. He is also a film critic (Les Cahiers du Cinéma, Vogue)
and teaches cinema at the French School ESEC.
