RIFF WINTER FEST can be streamed online from December 10 to 20. 
Discover our sneak peek of this year’s European Film Selection through 6 outstanding films, a myriad representation across genres of this year’s best European Cinema. Note that views are limited so reserve your ticket before films sold out! How does renting a film work?
  • Find a film or a bundle you want to watch, and click “rent”. Make an account, fill in your credit card details and click “rent” again.
  • The films you rent will be reserved in your library, which you can find by clicking on your name in the top right corner.
  • After you start the film, you will have 48 hours to finish it. But please note that the film can not be streamed past midnight on its expiration day, which you can find in the film description.

RIFF at Home - October 2020

We have 3 special program sections available on RIFF@home this October:
  • A Glimpse of Iceland at the EFA: These films can be rented and watched between October 5th and 11th
  • Get Inside an Artist’s Mind: Those films can be rented from October 12 on and can be watched between October 15th and 18th
  • Midnight Chills: Films from this section can be rented from October 19th on and watched between October 22nd and 25th.

E-tickets for On-site Screenings and Drive-in Cinema

You’ll receive a confirmation e-mail with a PDF file: this is your entry ticket.

Print your e-ticket at home or save it on your smartphone.

You can now go directly to the entrance of the venue where the barcode on your e-ticket will be scanned. If you’ve saved the file on your smartphone, make sure to turn up the brightness of your screen for easy scanning.

Please note that due to Covid-19 a limited amount of tickets is available for each screening.

Payment Methods

Payment with valid credit card and debit card. All our festival desks accept payment by Maestro, Visa and Mastercard.

What happens if you don't receive the ticket email?

First try checking your “junk” mail folder if you have one. If you use Gmail, Hotmail or any other web-based e-mail system there should be a junk or spam folder you can check. If you use an e-mail program such as Outlook, check your junk folders or spam filters.
